Try the wheel | 2-Day class

Töpfern an der Scheibe erfordert Geduld und Übung. Im Plöttjes Studio lernst du in zwei Einheiten die notwendigen Handgriffe für Geschirr. Der Kurs findet in kleiner Runde mit maximal vier Personen statt. Die Anleitung deckt den gesamten Prozess ab. Du startest mit dem Zentrieren und Formen des Tons an der Scheibe. Am zweiten Tag widmest du dich dem Trimmen deiner Stücke. Nach dem Kurs übernimmt das Studio das Glasieren von drei bis vier deiner Gefäße in Weiß. Der Unterricht findet auf Englisch statt.

You´ve always wanted to try the wheel? Wheelthrowing is an fascinating technique to produce mainly table ware. At PLÖTTJES STUDIO you can experience the magic behind it and learn the technique for the first or second time.\n\nWith only four participants, I will be able to help you with all techniques from centering to shaping the piece. In the second class you will trim your pieces. After the class, we will take care of glazing 3-4 pieces white for you. You can pick them up when they are fresh out of the kiln. (approx. 4-6 weeks)\n\nThis class will be taught in English by amazing potter and our studio manager Abby. Material and firing costs are included in the fee.
