Salon of Coincidence: Vol 05

Der Salon of Coincidence versteht sich als unkonventioneller Raum für Musik und Performance. Auf dem Gelände von 90mil treffen sich hier Avantgarde-Klänge und improvisierte Installationen. Das Programm setzt auf eine Mischung aus krautigen Pop-Kollektiven, aufblasbaren Kostümen und immersiven Momenten. Auch ein entschleunigtes Speed-Dating findet seinen Platz im Ablauf. Das Ganze funktioniert als Experiment ohne externe Förderung oder Sponsoring. Der Zugang erfolgt über eine Spende an der Tür und die Mitgliedskarte des Hauses.

90mil presents The Salon of Coincidence A new semi-regular happening, providing the community with a spicy mix of music, installation, performance, and surprises. October's edition features an extraordinary performance ft. inflatable costumes, a 9-person kraut-pop collective, a somewhat hectic immersive experience and a slow-speed-dating session where dreams bring you together. The Salon is open from 8pm - late, activating multiple spaces on the 90mil grounds. A lot of people say that 90mil reminds them of the Berlin that existed 10-15 years ago - an energy that has somewhat faded or been forced into submission by rising costs and cultural apathy. Concert and club prices haven’t escaped that, leaving a lot of us dreaming of the days when it was possible to stay out all night and get breakfast in the morning with a 50€ bill. That’s why we’re making this event as accessible as possible: 5-10€ suggested donation at the door, plus the membership card. This is an experiment to see what we can do together in a DIY model, without playing the game of funding or corporate sponsorship.
