In Concert: Momoko Gil, Perera Elsewhere, with Flabbergast LIVE & Clovis

Momoko Gill präsentiert ihre Solokompositionen, die zwischen elektronischen Strukturen und Jazz-Einflüssen stehen. Unterstützung kommt von Perera Elsewhere, die Rap und Avant-Pop in ihre Produktionen einwebt. Der Abend bewegt sich fernab von Genre-Konventionen. Im Anschluss übernimmt das Duo Flabbergast die Bühne. Vincent Lemieux und Guillaume Coutu Dumont setzen auf Live-Improvisation, die elektronische Beats mit jazzigen Elementen verbindet. Clovis eröffnet den Abend mit einem ambienten Set. Das Haus der Visionäre bietet den Rahmen für diese Zusammenstellung aus dem Umfeld von Mutek. Der Fokus liegt auf hypnotischen Klangwelten und einer avantgardistischen Ausrichtung.

 Fresh from her critically acclaimed collaboration Clay with Matthew Herbert, Momoko steps forward in her own right for the first time with her remarkable debut solo album. Momoko has long been one of the UK electronic and jazz scene’s best-kept secrets. A self-taught drummer, producer, songwriter, and vocalist, she has brought her unique touch to collaborations with Alabaster DePlume, Matthew Herbert, Coby Sey, Tirzah, and Nadeem Din-Gabisi (her musical foil in An Alien Called Harmony). Extensive touring behind the drum kit, at the keys and in front of the mic have honed her compositional and production instincts. Perera Elsewhere:

 Over a decade after the release of her debut solo album, multi-award-winning producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Sasha Perera, aka Perera Elsewhere seamlessly integrates experimental rap, psychedelic grime, and dancefloor-oriented footwork with her distinctive avant-pop sound for what she has become known. Her voracious appetite to 'Just Wanna Live Some', sees her borderless expressions across songs and tracks have just one thing in common - they're human, a consideration has never been more urgent.  Essential duo from the MUTEK universe, Flabbergast duo Guillaume Coutu Dumont and Vincent Lemieux transforms from spontaneous live improvisations to refined compositions. Merging eclectic influences like electronic, jazz, and hip-hop, their performance showcases an evolutionary leap in sound—perfecting a blend that challenges genre confines.
