Fantastic Creatures :: special handbuilding course - DE/EN/ESP

Im Clayers Collective verwandelst du eine Illustration oder Idee in ein dreidimensionales Objekt. Unter der Anleitung der Illustratorin Cristina Sitja Rubio modellierst du eine Figur aus Ton, die auch als Vase oder Kerzenhalter dienen kann. Der Kurs dauert fünf Stunden. Zuerst überträgst du deinen Entwurf in das Material und formst ihn aus. Danach bemalst du das noch lederharte Werkstück mit Engoben. Nach dem Kurs trocknen die Stücke und werden zweimal gebrannt. Zwischen den Bränden tragen die Veranstalter eine transparente Glasur auf. Das fertige Objekt steht nach einigen Wochen zur Abholung bereit, Material und Brennkosten sind bereits enthalten.

Under the guidance of experienced illustrator Cristina Sitja Rubio, you can transfer your imagination into clay and model a figure with your hands and then paint it. This can also be a candle holder or a vase. There are no limits to your imagination.\n\nOne-Day session with 5 hours:\n* You will transfer your previously sketched idea into clay and model and shape it\n* Painting the leatherhard object with engobes\n\nAfter the course, your pieces will be drying before we fire them for the first time. We will then apply a transparent glaze for you and fire them a second time. Your creations are usually ready around 4–6 weeks after the course. Material and firing costs are included in the course fee.
