The academic researchers at the DDR Museum investigate aspects of GDR history as well as collection and exhibition-specific topics. This is based on the extensive collection of artefacts and the museum's long-standing successful exhibition programme. The staff are involved in professional dialogue on the history of the GDR and support research projects within the scope of their possibilities. \n\nThe museum also offers an interactive exhibition, guided tours, and workshops that bring GDR history to life, supporting teachers and pupils in strengthening their ability to critically assess historical issues.
