Book Launch: textur mag, issue #7, vol. 1

Das 800A Bar & Cabaret lädt zur Präsentation der siebten Ausgabe des textur mag. Die erste von zwei geplanten Bänden dieses Jahres widmet sich inhaltlich dem Thema Geld. Das Magazin bleibt seinem Prinzip treu und setzt erneut vollständig auf den Risodruck. Die Gestaltung variiert dabei in Bindung und Format, um den haptischen Charakter der Publikation zu unterstreichen. Das Programm umfasst Lesungen, Gespräche und eine Auswahl an Pop-up-Ständen. Musikalische Begleitung rahmt den Abend ein.

On Friday, October 9th, 800a will welcome its third book launch event curated by the Re(a)d Wedding Kollektiv. We will on this night celebrate textur mag's 7th issue, the first of two volumes to be released this year, featuring Myriam Amri, M.P. Brooks, Sonja Hornung, Seda Mimaroğlu, and Anton Vertwen. The collected images and texts, under the umbrella of “The Money Issue,” continue the vision of long-time Weddinger Juli Cordray. For each issue, textur mag brings together one-of-a-kind pieces with differing binding, orientation and sizes to always keep readers guessing, but with one constant: the print method.
