Die Nikolaikirche öffnet für die After-Work Musikzeit. Zwischen historischen Mauern verbindet sich der Museumsbesuch mit elektronischen Klängen. Gast-DJ Mehmet Aslan kuratiert den Soundtrack. Sein Stil verwebt elektronische Beats mit Folk-Elementen und reagiert direkt auf die aktuelle Soundinstallation von Annika Kahrs. Der Raum wird zur Kulisse für einen Abend zwischen Ausstellung und Konzert. Es ist ein Ort, um den Arbeitstag ausklingen zu lassen.

Drinks and DJ sets at the Nikolaikirche: Our offer for your after-work trip into Berlin’s history!\n\nThis series of events is for anyone who enjoys visiting the museum in the evening or simply wants to experience the museum in a different way. At “After-Work Musikzeit” (After Work Music Time), a varying live DJs provide the soundtrack to your visit to the exhibition! For the special exhibition “Chorus – a sound installation by Annika Kahrs”, we’re moving from the Ephraim-Palais to the Nikolaikirche.\n\nOur guest DJ, Mehmet Aslan, blends electronic and folk sounds. As a musician and curator, he has contributed to projects including the Strut/!K7 compilation ‘Senza Decoro’. On this evening, he will create a soundscape that ties in with Annika Kahrs’ sound installation – perfect for dancing, relaxing and enjoying the moment.
