CHRISTMAS SPECIAL ERNST BIER’S LITTLE SHOP OF JAZZ FEAT : CHRISTOPH ADAMS-PEPE BERNS\n\nDrummer Ernst Bier has been running the Little Shop of Jazz for over 35 years. In this jazz venue, he regularly presents new projects with a wide variety of musicians. This time, he is taking the opportunity to play in a trio with two musicians with whom he has played in various bands for many years… but never publicly as a trio. The three musicians met in the early 1990s when they were living and playing music in Cologne. Pianist Christoph Adams played with Ernst Bier and Ed Schuller in a trio, among others, and all three could also be heard on stage with clarinetist Perry Robinson for several years. Several CDs have been released featuring these performances. Bassist Pepe Berns has been active in numerous projects with both Christoph Adams and Ernst Bier and has toured throughout Europe. The three musicians live and work in Berlin. Let yourself be carried away by the tremendous enthusiasm of these excellent musicians. They live with and through their music, a fact that they pass on to their listeners without exception.
