Im Village Berlin findet ein Workshop für Queer BIPOC statt, die eigene Erfahrungen mit Migration oder Flucht teilen. Es geht um einen Ort des Ankommens ohne Leistungsdruck. Sanaa Mariam Al Nomeiry leitet die 90 Minuten. Der Fokus liegt auf Selbstfürsorge, dem Setzen von Grenzen und gegenseitiger Unterstützung. Du entscheidest selbst, wie viel du beitragen möchtest. Es ist ein Raum, um einfach nur zu sein.

In this 90-minute workshop, we create a safe space to arrive, take a breath, and recharge. Together, we’ll explore what strengthens us, how we can lovingly honour our boundaries, and what mutual care can look like. → Self-care without pressure to perform → Understanding our own needs and boundaries → Connection and community care → Sharing and collective strength You decide for yourself how you would like to participate and what you want to share. You are welcome to simply be here—with whatever is present for you right now. Queer Bridges: Forging connections and providing resources for LGBTQIA+ people with experiences of migration and/or displacement. Queer people with experiences of migration and/or displacement in Berlin often face unique challenges in their daily lives that can limit their access to supportive communities and inclusive environments. With the support of the Deutsche Fernsehlotterie Stiftung, we have developed the Queer Bridges program to overcome these barriers. We provide resources, networking and support in a welcoming environment for queer immigrants and refugees through our special program. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging to the local LGBTQIA+ community, enabling smooth integration and an improved quality of life for queer folks with experiences of migration and/or displacement. ✅ Our Queer Bridges program will continue to evolve and we are always happy to hear about your needs.
