Photo Jam Berlin #01 — Diptychs Photowalk

Photo Jam startet in Berlin. Der erste Fotowalk widmet sich dem Thema Diptychen, also dem Zusammenspiel zweier Bilder als visuelle Einheit. Treffpunkt ist der REWE am Kottbusser Tor. Von dort aus geht es für etwa zwei Stunden zu Fuß durch die Umgebung. Die Teilnahme erfordert keine spezielle Ausrüstung, das Smartphone reicht völlig aus. Wer mag, lässt den Tag im Anschluss bei einem Getränk in der Nähe ausklingen.

Welcome to the first Photo Jam meeting in Berlin! Photo Jam is a photography community built around creative exercises, regular practice, and meeting new people through photography. I previously organized a large photography community in Vienna, and I’m now starting a new chapter here in Berlin. For our first photowalk, the theme is diptychs: pairs of photographs that create a relationship, contrast, rhythm, or small visual story. You don’t need any special equipment or previous experience—bring whichever camera you enjoy using, including your phone. We’ll meet outside REWE at Kottbusser Tor and walk together for approximately two hours. Afterwards, anyone who feels like staying can join us for a beer or another drink nearby.
