Comedy & Party with the Bastards of the Basement

Das Atelier Äuglein in Kreuzberg wird zur Bühne für die Bastards of the Basement. Die Besetzung kombiniert Bass- und Tenorstimmen mit Klavierimprovisationen zu einer skurrilen Mischung aus Musik und Theater. Der Abend folgt einer Lewis-Carroll-Thematik, bei der Kostüme gern gesehen sind. Neben den musikalischen Darbietungen gibt es ein elektronisches Set von Roy und Auftritte von Poppy the Clown. Die Veranstaltung ist informell und lässt Raum für spätes Eintreffen. Nach der Show geht der Abend in eine Party über, bei der eigene Getränke mitgebracht werden können.

We blow the froth off musical improv! Join the Bastards of the Basement in a grungy grotto – in the crack-centre of Kreuzberg. Spawned and shaped in the basements of Berlin, Bastards of the Basement is composed of: * Henry, with his rich, powerful bass voice * Geoff, a tenuous tenor with a talent for turmoil * Roy – prolific composer and piano magician. * @Teslator (aka Roy) will also perform an electronic set, and we will also be joined by guest performer Poppy the Clown The show starts at 8 PM, but this is an informal event – if you can’t make it by 8, just show up when you can. There’ll be a party afterwards at 10 PM. This is a funky private space, so feel free to bring your own drinks or buy from the cheap alcohol wholesalers next door (open until 8 PM). There may also be drinks at the bar, along with free carcinogenic snacks for your delight. This is a contribution-based event. We recommend something in the region of at least 5 euros.
