RAPSODICA presents RESIDUO

RESIDUO widmet sich dem, was nach dem Ende bleibt. Das Format bei Ikii setzt auf Entschleunigung und eine bewusste Auseinandersetzung mit Klang. Die Musikauswahl bewegt sich zwischen Ambient, Dub und Drone. Pitch037, Martina Bertoni und mFX gestalten den Abend mit atmosphärischen Sets und live generierten Klangstrukturen. Die Künstler agieren dabei innerhalb einer eigens aus Erde und Pflanzen gestalteten Installation. Für die kulinarische Begleitung sorgt das Team von Ikii mit einer Auswahl an Weinen und Bieren. Vor Ort wird zudem frische Focaccia zubereitet.

RESIDUO, a listening night for what remains after something has passed. It is our invitation to slow down and stay with sound, and presence, until the body asks for it no more. On the 24th of October, we gather at Ikii for the second edition of this format. ᯓᡣ𐭩 You will find a booth built from soil, and what once were flowers, the artists held inside the material and never in front of it. ✮⋆˙ Other than the beautiful Ikii selections of wines and beers, we will cook focaccia for you on the spot. ⋆. 𐙚 ˚ After a soothing initiation from a project resident, Pitch037 opens. Returning to our booth after a mesmerising performance at HABITATIO last year. Dublin-born and Berlin-based since 2018, his atmospheric selection moves through ambient, dub and IDM down to the slower edges of jungle and bass. Recent releases on InHabit Records, Woozy, Sketchy Lines Records, and a set at Open Ears Festival 26. ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Martina Bertoni follows with a live performance, destabilised tunings, generative systems and drone minimalism bending the way sound is perceived in the room. Her discography includes Electroacoustic Works for Halldorophone (Karlrecords, 2025), Hypnagogia (2023) and Music for Empty Flats (2021). ˙ . ꒷ . 𖦹˙ mFX closes, a collector of discs and DATs who treats the floor as a holy space and lets the room settle at its own pace. Former resident at mjut club in Leipzig, co-founder of the record store Sleeve++ and of the label, radio show and party series Solid Rotation, now part of the interdisciplinary publishing platform Side Defects. At every gathering, you are more and more beautiful, but we will never stop reminding you that at our events there's no space for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or ableism.
